01 Chi fornisce l'app

02 Accettazione

Scaricando, installando o utilizzando Veoaris accetti questi termini.

03 Licenza d'uso

04 Funzioni gratuite e Veoaris Pro

05 Abbonamento, prova gratuita e rinnovo

I tuoi documenti restano tuoi.

Legal

Terms of Use

Last updated: 10 September 2026 · Effective as of Veoaris 2.0

These terms govern your use of Veoaris for macOS. They explain what you may do with the app, how the subscription works, and what happens if you already purchased Veoaris in the past.

01 Who provides the app

Veoaris is developed and distributed by Daniel Nanescu, an independent developer based in Italy ("the developer", "we"). The app is distributed exclusively through Apple's Mac App Store.

For anything concerning these terms: support@veoaris.com.

02 Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using Veoaris you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

03 Licence

Veoaris is licensed to you, not sold. The licence is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), which applies to all apps distributed on the App Store unless a custom agreement is provided.

Read Apple's standard EULA ↗

These Terms supplement the standard EULA with the subscription terms and conditions specific to Veoaris. Where a matter is governed by the standard EULA and the two conflict, the standard EULA prevails.

04 Free features and Veoaris Pro

Veoaris is free to download. Reading your documents is always free and unlimited: you can open and read PDF, Word, PowerPoint and EPUB files without any subscription.

Some advanced features require Veoaris Pro:

We may change which features are included in Veoaris Pro in the future. Any such change will not reduce the features that were already available for free when you installed the app.

05 Subscription, free trial and renewal

Veoaris Pro is an auto-renewing annual subscription, preceded by a 7-day free trial.

Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never receive or store your card or payment method details.

06 If you already purchased Veoaris

Up to version 1.0, Veoaris was a paid app sold as a one-time purchase. Anyone who bought it during that period keeps the Veoaris Pro features free of charge, indefinitely, without taking out any subscription.

This is recognised automatically when the app starts, by checking the version of your original purchase through the App Store. You do not need to do anything. If you purchased Veoaris before the move to the free model and the Pro features are not active, write to support@veoaris.com and we will sort it out.

07 Refunds

Purchases and subscriptions are made through Apple, which also handles refunds under its own terms. We cannot issue refunds directly. Requests should be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law remain unaffected.

08 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

You are responsible for the documents you open with Veoaris and for holding the rights needed to do so.

09 Intellectual property

Veoaris, its name, logo and code belong to the developer and are protected by copyright law. These terms transfer no ownership rights in the app to you.

Your documents remain yours. We acquire no rights over the files you open, index or search with Veoaris.

10 Warranties and liability

Veoaris is provided "as is". While we work to keep it functioning correctly, we do not warrant that it will be error-free, always available, or fit for any particular purpose.

Veoaris is a viewer: it reads your documents, it does not modify or delete them. Keeping backups of important files nonetheless remains your responsibility.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app or the subscription in the twelve months preceding the event. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor any mandatory consumer rights.

11 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when features change or legal obligations require it. The updated version is published on this page with a new date. If the changes are substantial and affect an active subscription, we will notify you in the app or via the App Store before they take effect.

12 Term and termination

The licence remains valid for as long as you use the app. You may end it at any time by uninstalling Veoaris and, if active, cancelling the subscription. We may suspend the licence in the event of a material breach of these terms.

13 Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are acting as a consumer, the mandatory provisions of your country of residence continue to apply and you may bring proceedings before the courts of the place where you live.
